Alcids at Dyer Point

I finally got a Razorbill at the tip of Dyer Point.  Suddenly there he was, about 30 feet out in the water.  Unfortunately the combination of a good swell, the bird's low profile, and his constant preening made it difficult to get a decent shot even though it was quite close to shore.   After a few minutes, he dove and I found him literally in the white water one minute later as he took a quick breath, and then lost him for good.  There were a couple Black Guillemots out there as well.
