Snowy Owl

Snowy Owl

dead Razorbill
Dead birds don't count towards my year list, but I probably will never get a chance to observe live razorbill this close, so I took a few photos.  The photographs I found online show a beautiful white stripe extending through the eye, along the top bill, and then descending in front of the bill groove and onto the tip of the lower bill.  I wonder if that line disappears when the bird dies?  A few winters back these were found everywhere, but I haven't seen one in over 2 years.
